Honeymooners in Yellowstone!

We finally found the perfect campsite next to beautiful Jackson lake and we were very close to the water :) We had made "hobo" dinners and I wasn't able to enjoy them because I got the stomach flu :( But Joseph was really good at starting the fire, the first time it was with one match :-D

Nonetheless! The next day we went hiking around yellowstone...well more like walking on a trail with the sun barrelling down on us. But all the geysers and pools were really cool!...well really hot!!

Then we went back to the campsite and enjoyed exploring the lake's beach front (we were originally planning our honeymoon to be close to a beach so I'm glad we got it!) It was so beautiful. We even got a few good skips with our rocks.

I still had the stomach flu and tossed everything up I ate that day, even though I was fine all day, it came back when we were done with it all. Not the most fun, but Joe took good care of me even though it wasn't how we expected to spend our honeymoon. :D

Honeymooners in Jackson Hole

Then we hopped in the car and headed for Jackson Hole, Wyoming! We stayed in a very cute little cabin. The town/city life was great, I wish I got a few more pictures.

We went to a play "Grease" with a Western kick! We sat in the front row and Joseph got pulled up on stage ha ha.

Our favorite parts though were hiking around Jenny lake, it started out cold, but was perfect near the end. Joseph is our mountain goat hiker! Sometimes I'll join him :)

We also got an infestation of chipmunks!! It was so funny, Joseph got a great picture of one on his leg, I was so nervous! but isn't he cute :D

And we went canoeing on Jenny lake! Once we got used to paddling we spoke spanish the whole time, Joe was teaching me :D Then the wind got the better of us a few times...boy was it a work out!
We also went to Bar J Wranglers, which was great! We sat next to really nice people and the food was amazing and the show was very entertaing :)

Honeymooners!

We spent our first two nights in Pocatello, Idaho at the Black Swan Inn. I know Pocatello, ID doesn't spell romance and adventure but those were our favorite two nights!

We stayed in the Wild West themed sweet and really had a lot of fun and enjoyed the break! :)We had fun walking around the town, we really connected and bonded. :-)
